Book Loans
- Circulation Books: Circulation books may be borrowed for three (3) days, renewable, unless needed by other users. Three books may be borrowed at any one time.
- Reserve Books: Hourly basis or for overnight use.
- Hourly loan: Room use of material for a period of two hours without renewal.
- Overnight loan: The book may be charged out after three o'clock in the afternoon to be returned the following working day not later than 9:30 in the morning.

Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC)
Users may search for books, thesis, and articles from the library databases using WEBOPAC or OPAC terminals.
CD-ROM Materials
CD-ROM materials are available at the Science Library, Engineering-Technology Library, CBAA Library, CASS Library, CED Library, Multi Media and Reference Section of the main Library. These can be availed of upon request.
Classification System
The MSU-IIT Library is using the Dewey Decimal Classification Scheme.

Other Services
Current Awareness/Current Contents: The library publishes and distributes Current Contents for articles for journals received and Acquisition List of newly acquired books to the college deans. A copy is posted on the bulletin board of each unit library.
User's Education: The library offers orientation and instruction lectures to freshmen students every beginning of the semester. These lectures are designed to familiarize the students with the essential tools for learning and use of the library.
