The MSU-IIT College of Education is overwhelmed after being
awarded Center of Excellence.
Committed to serve instruction, research, and extension, the College of
Education (CED) held a Curriculum Stakeholders Meeting last August 2, 2010
at the CED Amphitheater.
The Department of Science and Mathematics Education (DSME) of the
College of Education held its Strategic Planning Workshop on August
9-11, 2010 at JM Family Garden, Baroy, Lanao del Norte.
Faculty members and students of the College of Education took home
several awards during the 8th Annual In-House Review held at the
Mini-Theatre of the MSU-IIT last June 25, 2010.
Embracing training in all the genres of the performing arts, the
MSU-IIT Integrated Performing Arts Guild (IPAG) conducts its 33rd
SeasonWorkshop on Contemporary Dance starting July 31
until
August 4, 2010, in Iligan City.
Prof. Amabelle B. Arquisal, faculty member of the Department of
Sociology and MSU-IIT’s representative to NOMCARRD, attended a
technical
writing training workshop conducted last May 17-21, 2010 by the
Philippine
Council for Agriculture, Forestry, and Natural Resources Research and
Development (PCARRD).
Prof. Nimfa L. Bracamonte, Ph.D., faculty member of the Department of
Sociology, joined the project “Assessing Development: Designing Better
Indices of Poverty and Gender Equity” of The Centre for Applied
Philosophy and Public Ethics of the Australian National University (ANU)
in Acton, Australia.
The MSU-IIT received favorable evaluations to four research proposals
submitted to the Northern Mindanao Consortium for Health Research and
Development (NorMinCoHRD).
